  • Very Reverend Denis Brunelle

    Our Rector: The Very Rev. Denis C. Brunelle began ministering at St. Luke's in June of 2009. He was ordained on June 17, 1978 as a Roman Catholic Priest and received as an Episcopal Priest on May 26, 1992. From 1998 until 2006 he served as the rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bay Shore, NY. He then served at the Mercer School of Theology until 2009. Denis is the oldest of five growing up in Manchester, NH. Our rector servied in various capacities and ministries in the Diocese including head of the Diocesan Liturgy and Church Music Commission (1999-2006), served on the Diocesan Commission of Ministry (1999 - 2004).   • Rev. Leandra T. Lambert

    Mother Leandra Lambert, Associate Rector

    Prior to her arrival as the Curate of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in August 2018, the Reverend Leandra T. Lambert was the Executive Assistant to the Director of Anglican Relations at Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City. In 2011, she graduated from Wellesley College (Wellesley, MA) with a Bachelor's degree in both Classical Civilization and Political Science. After graduation, she worked with the Communications and Marketing Team at The Redwoods Group in Morrisville, North Carolina. 

    Reverend Leandra earned a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School (Cambridge, MA), with a thesis titled “Sign, Symbol and Sacrament: Eucharistic Ethics and the Israel–Palestine Conflict.“

    Reverend Leandra was named the Union of Black Episcopalians’ 2017 Young Adult of the Year. Earlier this year, she received a Citation from Brooklyn’s 43rd Assembly District for service to the community and the State of New York. She previously served as a Deacon at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, NY.
