st. luke's memorial garden

The Memorial Garden is intended as a place of burial for members of St. Luke's Church. In order to assure that the Memorial Garden retains a special sense of place as a burial ground, the Memorial Garden Committee holds the responsibility for its care and supervision.

The initial plans of the Memorial Garden called for the construction of a columbarium as an integral part of the church grounds on the lawn between the church and the sunken garden to the rear of the rectory. A groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 25, 1991 and construction began in the fall.

Donations toward the care and maintenance of the Garden, planned improvements, and landscaping will be accepted in lieu of individual gifts of flowers or plants.
