Father Ben's Vacation Schedule
Father Ben will be away Thursday, August 27 through Wednesday, September 16. The Rev. Cecily Broderick from Christ Church, Sag Harbor will be leading our Sunday services on August 30 and September 13. The Rev. Fred Thayer will be leading services on Sunday September 6. While Father Ben is away, the Wednesday services will be Morning Prayer and St. Peter’s services will be Evening Prayer. 

Monthly ‘Vote Faithfully’ Networking calls

Thursdays, Sept. 3, Oct. 1, Nov. 5 1:30–2 p.m. ET



On the first Thursday of each month from June through November, The Episcopal Church's Public Policy and Witness team will host a series of “Vote Faithfully” calls to support voter engagement in ways consistent with Episcopal values. During the calls, hosts will share resources and ideas to help congregations promote voting and civic participation while remaining nonpartisan (avoiding support for specific political parties, candidates, or platforms).



Ingathering of Communion Wine It is tradition at St. Luke’s to replenish the sacramental wine by asking parishioners to buy one or more bottles of Christian Brothers Tawny Port (available at Park Place Liquors) in honor of or for remembrance of loved ones, or in gratitude for blessings received. There will be an ingathering of the wine to be blessed. When a new bottle is opened, the accompanying dedication will appear in the bulletin. 

Choir Comeback
We will have a pickup choir at the 10am service on the first Sunday of each month. Rehearsal will be after the 10am service the week before. For more information, contact Bobby Peterson.
